US navy details that it will enforce a full blockade on Iran
Oil prices are up more than 8% now as the US details how it will blockade Iran.
Some details from the US navy:
- US will begin enforcement of a naval blockade of all ports and coastal areas starting at 2000 GMT on July 14
- Blockade encompasses entirety of Iran's coastline and will include, but not limited to, ports and oil terminals
- Blockade will not impeded neutral transit passage through strait of Hormuz to or from non-Iranian destinations
