Iran positively reviewing participation in peace talks, no final decision taken – report
I don’t take this as a meaningful headline but oil prices are ticking lower on it. A US plane arrived in Islamabad today’ that presumably carrying JD Vance. He wouldn’t be going there if Iran hadn’t already agreed to talks, despite some of the rhetoric that’s been floating around.
The same Iranian official also said that 'positive efforts’ are underway by Pakistan to end the US blockade of Iran. Several reports in the past hour pushed back against the idea that Pakistan had asked the US to abandon its blockade.
