investingLive Americas market news wrap: Some late talk of Iran peace

最近のFX関連情報ニュース

Markets:

  • WTI crude oil down $4.25 to $80.77
  • US 10-year yields down 8.1 bps to 4.62%
  • Gold up $14 to $4665
  • NZD leads, CHF lags
  • S&P 500 up 0.3%

The most interesting news late in the day is a vague report in the state-owned Russian press saying there is an Iran peace deal, citing Iranian and Pakistani sources. Russia media hasn't been part of the reporting on the conflict and the many fake leaks so the market is giving it some creedence and oil finished the day at the lows. The decline adds to some curious selling in crude since the start of the week and many traders believe there is rampant insider trading ongoing.

With that rumor/report, the US dollar also dipped late and gold held a decent bid after getting bounced around.

The stock market remains largely focused on AI but the meme-driven names were strong on the day in a sign of some optimism.

In much sadder news, Dolly Parton died at 80.
